Together we can save lives.
The Seany Foundation is proud to fund The Clinical Research Associate (CRA) at Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego, a critical initiative that enrolls pediatric cancer patients in potentially life-saving clinical trials. With help from your generous donations, we can advance new treatments for childhood cancer to one day find a viable cure.
What does the Clinical Research Association Do?
The CRA directs clinical trials, assists with protocol guidelines, writes the regulatory components, coordinates the essential documents, collaborates with the research nurse and pharmacist, works closely with pathology and radiology staff, reviews study eligibility, performs data abstraction and much more.

Differences in childhood and adult cancers
Cancer affects children much differently than adults. Though, childhood cancers tend to respond better to certain treatments depending on the circumstances, many cancer treatments can cause long-time side effects. Children who have had cancer will require careful follow-ups for the rest of their lives.
