Our Story

Oncology And Kids was founded in 2020 with the goal of continuing the legacy of the 40-year cancer camp program, Camp Reach for the Sky. CR4TS is comprised of several camps throughout the year supporting children diagnosed with cancer AND their families (siblings included). OAK provides safe spaces for children affected by cancer and their families to create lasting memories, forge lifelong friendships, and build the resiliency they need to heal. In addition to our cornerstone camps for kids and families, we provide wraparound services for those in need throughout the year.

Based in San Diego, California, OAK is the childhood oncology organization that provides a voice, community, and sense of normalcy for children with cancer and their families as they recover from the emotional toll of diagnoses and treatment. Whether patient, sibling, daughter, or son, no child will be alone when dealing with childhood cancer. Together we can truly heal.

We depend on community support to continuously ensure that all our programs are free of charge to the kids and families we serve. In addition to making a purchase, you can make a tax-deductible donation to fund our year-round effort to care for families affected by childhood cancer.
